It all started in 2014 in a garage in Warren, Michigan. Marcus Webb, a former chef and lifelong wing enthusiast, grew frustrated with lackluster wings at local spots — soggy skin, uninspired sauces, and zero soul. He spent two years perfecting his dry-rub technique, sourcing premium chicken, and developing over 20 signature sauces from scratch.
Word spread fast. Friends became regulars, regulars became evangelists, and by 2016, Wing Snob opened its first brick-and-mortar on Van Dyke Ave. The name? A nod to Marcus's uncompromising refusal to serve anything less than extraordinary.
Today, Wing Snob serves thousands of guests weekly, ships sauces nationally, and continues to push the boundaries of what a chicken wing can be — all while staying rooted in the community that believed in us from day one.

Marcus Webb begins testing dry-rub wing recipes in his Warren garage, inspired by a cross-country road trip sampling regional wing joints. Friends and neighbors become his first taste-testers, and demand quickly outpaces supply.
Wing Snob launches as a weekend pop-up at Warren Farmers Market. A local food blogger's rave review sends orders through the roof — 500 orders in a single Saturday. Marcus realizes this is more than a hobby.
Wing Snob opens its flagship location at 30800 Van Dyke Ave, Warren, MI. The opening day line wraps around the block. Within 90 days, the restaurant achieves break-even — a milestone that takes most restaurants 18 months.
After years of guest requests, Wing Snob bottles its top 8 sauces for retail. Within the first quarter, over 10,000 units ship across 32 states. The "Ghost Pepper Honey" becomes a cult favorite with over 4,000 five-star reviews.
When dine-in closes, Wing Snob launches a robust delivery and curbside operation. The team launches "Wing Snob Kits" — DIY meal kits that teach customers to make wings at home. 30 staff members are retained through the toughest year in hospitality.
Wing Snob wins "Best Wings in Metro Detroit" at the Michigan Food Awards — then repeats the win in 2023. The accolades bring national media attention, including a feature on the Food Network's digital platform.
Wing Snob launches its fully integrated online ordering platform and announces plans for a second Michigan location. The brand crosses 50,000 lifetime customers and continues to grow its catering and event services.

Diane keeps Wing Snob running like a well-oiled machine. With 15 years in restaurant operations, she built the systems that allow us to serve thousands of orders weekly without missing a beat.
Executive Sous Chef
Jordan's Korean culinary heritage fuels some of Wing Snob's most beloved fusion sauces. A Le Cordon Bleu graduate, Jordan manages day-to-day kitchen operations and leads our seasonal menu development.
Brand & Marketing Director
Priya is the voice, look, and energy of Wing Snob online and offline. She built our social following from zero to 80K+ and leads all brand partnerships, campaigns, and the beloved annual Wing Fest event.
